Selah

Meet Selah, your customer coworker

Selah brings customer conversations into one inbox with full context — assign, tag, prioritise and reply, with the customer's orders, loyalty and wallet right beside the chat. It answers common questions automatically from your own live menu and your own FAQ, and passes anything it isn't sure about straight to your team.

The problem

Customer messages get lost

Enquiries scatter across chat widgets, social DMs and email. Without context or ownership, questions go unanswered and regulars slip away — and stitching together separate CRM tools is costly.

  • Messages spread across disconnected channels
  • No customer context beside the conversation
  • No ownership, so enquiries fall through
  • Separate CRM tools are expensive to bolt on
The LaventTech solution

One inbox, built into the café platform

Selah's customer inbox is a shared, permission-controlled workspace with assignment, tags, priority and internal notes, showing each customer's real context. Its assistant answers common enquiries automatically from your own live menu and your own FAQ — and when it isn't sure, it says so and passes the conversation to your team rather than guessing.

  • Shared customer inbox with assignment & tags
  • Automatic answers from your own live menu & FAQ — sold-out items included
  • Priority, intent and internal staff notes
  • Customer profile: orders, loyalty, wallet beside the chat
  • Per-staff permissions: view, reply, note, assign, manage
  • Resolve, record and follow up on every conversation

FAQ

Common questions

Is Selah available now?

Yes — the Selah customer inbox is available today on every plan, including Starter: assignment, tags, priority, internal notes, per-staff permissions and full customer context beside every conversation.

How do the automatic answers work?

Selah matches the question against your own FAQ and your own live menu, and answers from that — so it reports an item as sold out when it is sold out. It does not write new text of its own and it does not quote prices from memory; it links to your live menu instead. Anything it cannot answer confidently is passed to your team with the customer's context attached, and staff write every reply that leaves the inbox.

Does Selah reply to customers on its own?

Only to those automatic answers, and only on web and in-app chat. It never changes an order, a booking, a wallet balance or a customer record — those stay with your staff. You can also switch its menu and FAQ knowledge off entirely, and it will simply hand every conversation to a person.

Can I control who sees conversations?

Yes — inbox access is controlled per staff member across five separate permissions: view, reply, internal notes, self-assign and manage. Permanent deletion is restricted to owners and managers and cannot be granted.
