Requesting deletion

You may request deletion of personal data associated with your use of LaventTech at any time.

To request deletion, email info@laventtech.com.

Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant account or business relationship. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.

What happens once a request is verified

Once verified, LaventTech will delete or anonymise personal data that is no longer required to provide the service, subject to any information we are required to retain for legal, security, accounting, fraud-prevention or regulatory purposes.

If your request concerns a café that uses LaventTech

When you buy from a café that uses LaventTech, that café decides how it handles your personal data. For that data the café is the organisation responsible, and LaventTech acts as a data intermediary, processing it on the café's instructions.

If your request concerns data held by a café, we will direct you to that café, and we act on that café's instructions in relation to it. The café's own privacy policy applies to that data.

Connected third-party services

Where data has been received from or shared with a connected third-party service, such as Meta or WhatsApp, deletion from LaventTech does not necessarily delete information independently retained by that third party. Their own privacy and deletion policies may also apply.
